Dental Wing Gets a Technology Upgrade

Serving at the Crossroads purchased new dental x-ray sensors and computers for the Manos Amigas dental wing. The clinic dental staff and their computer technician worked virtually with Shick Serona Dentsply to program the new computers for the upgraded x-ray system. The sensors and computers the dentists had been using were no longer being supported, which placed patient care at risk if they were to break down. Even though we have not been able to travel to the clinic, through a great team effort of donors, board members, vendors, and clinic staff we have continued to make a difference. This new system will positively impact dental care for many years to come.
